A native of South Korea, Pastor Daniel Na came to Woodland in June of 2020. He obtained his Masters of Divinity at Hyepseoung Theological Seminary.
During his theology studies, he completed courses in the Korean Methodist Church and became a missionary. He was ordained as a Deacon Pastor in Kyeong Ki Annual Conference and after 2 years was ordained as an Elder Pastor. He worked with The United Methodist Church for 5 ½ years as a partner in the Philippines. While there he served as an Assistant Pastor in a local church, while also supporting district programs and helped build a church. He and his co-workers taught the Bible in local elementary schools and high schools in Baguio City.
After finishing his missionary task in the Philippines, he was called to serve a local church, Peace KMC in South Korea. As a special Pastor leading young people, he led several mission trips to Hungary, Czech Republic and Turkey. In 2009 he was invited to serve Our Manna UMC in Central Texas Annual Conference in the United States. After serving 7 years, he was appointed to serve Hornbeck United Methodist Church as well as Leesville Korean United Methodist Church in Louisiana Conference.
In 2020 Pastor Daniel Na was appointed to serve Woodland United Church in Windsor, Virginia. He is happily married to his beloved wife, Hojun, and has a son, Sungchan, and daughter, Lena. They are called by God to serve his Kingdom and Pastor Daniel is very proud of his family.
